I am Sylvia Lewis and I have been the principal at Highlands Elementary for four years. I am originally from the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and have lived in the State of Texas for thirteen years. I attended the University of Maryland, E.S. and graduated with a B.A. in English and then the Ohio State University with a M.A. in Reading Education. I have dedicated my educational career to ensuring that all students have an opportunity to gain the best education possible in a nuturing and challenging environment.
